An admirer of self-awareness and mindfulness, Shivangi recalls her journey of seeking the path of Yoga and experience how former she worked as an engineer. Her journey to becoming a Yoga teacher didn't start too long back. Her last day as an engineer was the beginning of her journey of knowing herself in 2016. Shivangi is a Professional Yoga Teacher. She has done her master's degree in Yoga and Therapy from Devi Ahilya University Indore. She has been practicing yoga for the last 4 years. You are aware of all the physical obstacles that an engineer faces. The hectic lifestyle and constant pressure to work without any self-awareness seemed banal to her and thus, began her journey of exploring Yoga. She underwent heavy stress, suffering eye difficulties, and was also aware of a lot of physical problems that come with sitting on a chair for hours without any physical action so she decided to leave her job.
On the encouragement of her mother, Shivangi started taking her Yoga practice more seriously. Although enthusiastic to incorporate Yoga in her lifestyle, she had little idea as to where to begin. After browsing videos on Instagram and YouTube, she practiced a lot to develop more satisfaction and observe more real. She started collecting all the information about whatever she was learning. She developed insight into yoga. Gradually, she started to immerse herself in Yoga more deeply and found her body become more relaxed and untroubled with time. Having witnessed first-hand the miracles and restorative powers of Yoga, shivangi decided to enroll in a year-long diploma course in Yoga and she wanted to go further in yoga therefore, she has completed her master's. She now proudly admits having a happier state of mind with more clarity and direction.
What fascinates the most to her about this divine philosophy is that it is based upon scientific grounds and is mostly supported by meaningful theories. This is one of the main reasons that inspired her to opt for Yoga in her life. According to her, there are four pillars of Yoga that act as a guiding light in one’s journey of exploring the self – Determination, Discipline, Dedication, and Devotion. One must obey and rely on these pillars if they wish to live this delightful and magnificent experience.
